  • 200g beef (sirloin or flank steak), sliced thinly
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • Cooked rice (for serving)

Preparation:

  1. Marinate the beef: In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes while you prepare the vegetables.
  2. Heat the skillet: In a large skillet or wok, heat a bit of oil over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
  3. Stir-fry the vegetables: In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed and toss in the mixed vegetables. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until they’re tender-crisp. Add the grated ginger and remaining soy sauce, stirring to combine.
  4. Combine and serve: Return the beef to the skillet and toss everything together for another minute until heated through. Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice, and enjoy this deliciously quick meal!
